this weekend was pretty sweet. saturday jenny and i went out with adam to buy the boy some nice clothes for his brithday and christmas. he didn't own a pair of jeans before saturday. we also got him a nice button down blue and white checkered (i think that's what you call it) shirt and a gray lambswool sweater. yes, we are THE best friends in the world. he looks good now. all he needs is some shoes and he'll be all good. sunday me jenny and justin (adam's brother) went to a calvary near o'hare. it was so awesome to hear teaching straight up from the word. and to have a service so relaxed and laid back. the pastor was very good. the only downside was that the service was 2 hours long. and that it was a little far away to go to every week. we'll see. i'll definately be making the trip there or calvary lake villa when i get a car next year. so that pretty much made my day. i spent the rest of the day not doing the insane amounts of homework i have. we watched the exorsist. it was so bad. i didn't watch most of the gross parts. the rest of the movie was just boring. stupidest movie ever. why can't we just stick to the cute, nice, happy movies? i was also surprised last night. totally unexpected and not necessary, but i love it. thank you kyle. so yeah. today i went to my first class for 15 minutes before we were dismissed. so sweet. now i must finish my 5 reports due today for life planning. what a sucky class. i'm also hoping that we don't have to go outside today in the nasty weather for practice. i hate the cold.

so we wanted to see the movie 8 mile, but the stupid movie theaters around here (stinkin deerfield) don't show any movies past 10:30. we can't go until like 11:30, so guess who's not seeing that movie this weekend??? well, i'll get to see one movie. yeah tomorrow we're watching the exorcist. i cannot wait. i hate scary movies. why am i watching it again? oh yeah, kyle's making me. that's okay as long as i can keep my eyes closed through like the whole movie and squeeze his hand tight.

oh yeah, i think we will play robert morris on friday at their field. no fans, sucky. we had lots of them today. it was sweet to have them all there cheering us on. so yeah, we're in regionals even if we lose on friday. if we win, we'll be conference champions. robert morris is the only team we've lost to in our conference.

YAY!!! we won today 4-2!! we were up 2-0 at the half, then they (st.xavier) scored 2 in the second, then we came back and scored 2 more. it was a little scary there for a while. and dangit, it was cold sitting on the bench the whole game. i went to panera for dinner. got chicken soup, hot chocolate, and a cinnamon crunch bagel. so so yummy...that just made my night.

it's rainy and i have practice for our second round playoff game tomorrow. i don't want to go outside today. and i have to gice devotions today at practice. i really am not too good at these, so i hope it all goes well.
